Billing and card statements

Payments for all of our properties are processed by Inception Brands LLC. If you do not recognise a charge, the most likely explanation is that you bought from one of our properties rather than from a company called Inception Brands.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Inception Brands LLC does not store full card numbers.

If a charge is unclear, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank — we can identify the charge and resolve it faster than a chargeback can, and we would rather refund you than argue about it.

Refunds, cancellation and disputes

Subscriptions are non-refundable. Once a subscription charge has been taken we do not refund it, in whole or in part. Professional services engagements are quoted individually and are non-refundable once the work they cover has been performed.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time, by email to the address below or from the account settings of the property concerned. There is no fee and no minimum term. Cancelling stops all future renewals, and access continues to the end of the period already paid for — but there is no partial or pro-rata refund for the unused remainder of that period.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at purchase, which is annually for KidsParty.Rentals listings, and the card on file is charged on the renewal date at the price shown when you bought. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date, from your account settings or by email to the address below. We confirm every cancellation in writing.

Returns. Not applicable. Nothing sold here is a physical good, so there is nothing to ship back.

Disputes. Email contact@inceptionbrands.llc with the date and amount of the charge. We reply within two business days and will tell you plainly what it was for. Nothing on this page limits your rights under consumer law, or your rights with your card issuer.

Terms

These terms govern your relationship with Inception Brands LLC when you pay for a service operated by it. Where an individual property publishes its own terms of service, those terms govern that property and these apply to anything they do not cover.

• Services are supplied on a subscription or engagement basis as described at the point of purchase. Prices are shown in US dollars.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until cancelled. The renewal price and date are the ones shown at purchase unless we give notice of a change before it takes effect.
• Directory listings and other published content must be accurate and must be material you are entitled to publish. We may remove content that is not, and may close an account used for fraud or abuse.
• The services are supplied as-is. We do not guarantee a particular volume of enquiries, bookings or revenue, and we make no promise of a commercial outcome.
• We do not sell to, or knowingly contract with, anyone under 18.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States.
• We may update these terms. Material changes affecting an active subscription take effect at the next renewal, not mid-period.

There are no promotions, coupons or incentive programmes in operation. If one is introduced, its terms will be published with it.

There are no export or regional restrictions on these services beyond compliance with United States law.

Privacy

Inception Brands LLC collects the information it needs to provide and bill for its services, and no more.

• What is collected. Name, email address and, for vendors and clients, business contact details and any listing content you submit. Server logs record IP address and request information.
• Payment information. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on our systems. We retain only the record of the transaction.
• Why. To operate your account, deliver the service, take payment, provide support, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
• Sharing. We do not sell personal information. It is shared only with service providers who process it on our behalf — principally our payment processor, hosting provider and email provider — and where the law requires disclosure.
• Email. Transactional email, such as receipts, password resets and account notices, is sent as part of operating your account. Marketing email is sent only to people who have asked for it, and every such message can be unsubscribed from.
• Retention. Account and transaction records are kept while the account is active and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Your rights. You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and personal information to be deleted, subject to records we are legally required to retain. Email the address above.

Public directory listings are, by their nature, public: information a vendor submits for publication is visible to anyone.

Customer service for any of our properties, and for the company itself, is reached at the same place. Email is the fastest route and is monitored on business days.
